Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub – Does this scrub has it?
Thanks to modern beauty products and cosmetics, the term ‘charcoal’ has become almost synonymous to skin care. And there’s not any reason why it should not be so. After all, the first step to a great skin is obviously a clean and clear skin. And charcoal does exactly that!
In today’s times, when our skin has become a victim of dust pollution, anything that can get our skin rid of impurities seems like a boon. Charcoal is known to suck the impurities out from deep within the skin, to cleanse it thoroughly. And who doesn’t want that? This is why charcoal has become the top favourite of almost everyone, irrespective of the gender and age.
Although I have tried my hands on a few of the popular charcoal-based products, I have never used a charcoal-based scrub. I recently came across Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub and thought of trying my hands on it. Read on to know how my personal experience was with the product-

Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub comes packaged in a black and grey coloured flip tube. The tube looks attractive and is very easy and convenient to use. It is also very easy to carry and travel-friendly. Also, nothing comes out when kept in a bag or some carrier.
Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub Texture
The scrub is a grey coloured, thick liquid paste, with not-so-fine granules. The granules are kept a bit larger to ensure the exfoliation to the best. Also, the fragrance is very refreshing and pleasing to the sense of smell.
The best part about this scrub is that it is Parabean, Preservatives, Silicon, and Mineral oil free. Also, it contains Licorice extracts along with activated charcoal, for a clear and glowing skin.
My personal experience with Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub
I took a small amount of the scrub initially and applied it on my damp face and neck. I slowly massaged gently in a circular motion upwards. After a minute or two, I felt that the granules have completely dissolved and the scrub has been absorbed by the skin completely. Then I took some more amount of the scrub and followed the same steps.
I personally liked the size of the granules, because larger granules facilitate easy dead skin removal. Which is why, this scrub leaves the skin completely exfoliated, without even drying out. This scrub doesn’t cause any redness or irritation of any kind. I have dry skin, and I didn’t experience any redness or itching, so it will be safe to say that it can be used for a dry and sensitive skin as well. Also, as I said earlier, it doesn’t dry the skin and leaves the skin perfectly normal.
The only flaw that this ’gentle’ scrub has that it doesn’t remove the whiteheads and the blackheads. But if you are using it on alternate days or may thrice in a week, then there will be lesser chances of your skin forming whiteheads and blackheads. The skin will be cleansed and will glow naturally.

What I didn’t like about the Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub
- Didn’t work on whiteheads and blackheads
- Might not work for oily skin
- A little bit pricey
Will I recommend using the Oshea activated Charcoal Face Scrub
A hundred percent yes! This scrub cleanses your skin, removes impurities from the pores, and leaves your skin supple and soft. Can there be a better deal? Those of you looking to deep clean your skin, but fear the harshness of a scrub, should definitely try this one. This can be also be used in place of a face wash, so if you are allergic to some soap, you can try this one!
