Tianmen Mountain, Heaven’s Gate
Tianmen Mountain is known famously as Heaven’s gate for its natural hole in the mountain which becomes more mystical with blazing sunlight or fog. One has to climb the steep staircase to reach the Heaven’s Gate, which is around 4100 feet above. Once you reach the top, you may walk the glass pathway to make your trip more adventurous. Two and a half inch thick glass pathway is waiting for you. You may also take a wooden plank pathway, in case you find the glass pathway very dangerous or scary.
It is believed that the movie Avatar’s Pandora was inspired from the mountains and the surroundings of Tianmen Mountain.
